Theodore Alexander Crested Chair is an original George III design, circa 1760.
It is a mahogany dining chair which has a carved top rail as well as a pierced vase splat between waited uprights that lie above and upholstered drop-in seat which has a rail that is painted with the Spencer Crest.
The Crested Chair stands atop acanthus leaf scroll carved cabriole legs that terminate in claw and ball feet.
